Yes, 30% of the homes within the development are proposed to be affordable housing. These homes will be available for local people to either rent or buy at below-market prices.

The developer is Ashwood Homes. We have a well-established relationship with the village, having previously delivered our popular Woodlands Rise development on Stowe Road.

We are planning a sensitively designed scheme that reflects Langtoft’s valued and distinctive character. The proposal aims to create an attractive, sustainable neighbourhood that reflects the village’s rural setting , using traditional materials and layouts.

Ashwood Homes has been actively promoting this site through the Local Plan process and we continue to believe it is a suitable location to deliver a high-quality, sustainable development for the Langtoft community.
Across South Kesteven there is a significant need to identify suitable, sustainable sites that can help meet local housing needs now and in the future.

What is planned for green space and landscaping?
OUR RESPONSE
The proposals include public open spaces and green corridors. We also plan new tree planting and landscaping, which will be designed to enhance local biodiversity.

OUR RESPONSE
Our proposal includes contributions towards local services and infrastructure. We are also planning for sustainable drainage and water management, which is being developed in collaboration with Anglian Water.

OUR RESPONSE
No, we are keen to hear from the local community before we submit an outline planning application. Your thoughts and ideas are important and will help shape the development. Our pre-application consultation will run until 10th December.
